1) Why it is recommended to everyone having OBEREG JEWELRY? From ancient centuries people have been using crystals and jewelry with gemstones for healing purposes. It is considered and proven many times already that well-made and well chosen jewelry with NATURAL stones - gemstones and crystals when worn close to the skin, can have a positive effect on the owner (self-development, healing, cleansing...). Chakras One of our favourite explanations for having 108 beads on a mala is related to the chakras (the seven energy points in our body). It has been said there there are 108 energy lines connecting to the heart, with one of them believed to be the path to self realization. Mantras When using your mala beads in meditation and chanting your mantra, some have said you are complete once you have done it 100 times. The 8 extra beads are to account for errors. Or even more beautiful, are meant to be an offering to your guru. Letters Many choose to recite their mantra in sanskrit, the ancient script of India. Within the Saksrit alphabet there are 54 letters. Each letter has a feminine and masculine version — totalling 108. 9 times 12: Both of these numbers have been said to have spiritual significance in many traditions. 9 times 12 is 108. Also, 1 plus 8 equals 9. That 9 times 12 equals 108. Powers of 1, 2, and 3 in math: 1 to 1st power=1; 2 to 2nd power=4 (2x2); 3 to 3rd power=27 (3x3x3). 1x4x27=108 *** Obereg necklaces usually have 108 beads - and that is the recommended amount, the length and weight of the necklace varies depending on the design and size of the beads. Most oberegs are created from round or/ and faceted beads and a few of them can be matte. Size of the beads varies and can be from 4mm to 12mm (as well as occasionally bigger or finer). *** I also create the so-called transformer OBEREG necklaces (shorter necklace + bracelet = n total of 108 beads). *** Prayer beads (malas) are used for keeping count while reciting, chanting, or mentally repeating a mantra or the name or names of a deity. In Tibetan Buddhism, malas of 108 beads are used. 3) Who defines the design of Oberegs? The natural stones are chosen by date of birth for general balancing of the numerology (e.g. Pigafor Square) and for the natal chart. Or on specific requests (see below). Size and type of beads is determined by the crystal therapist / designer and confirmed with the client. There is a special "Questionnaire" that is filled out by clients where you can mention your preferences for the size / type / color and the designer can take into account the preference. 4) What are the most common requests for Obereg Jewelry? Obereg necklaces & bracelets can be created for a variety of requests. Crystals also affect not just 1 particular area or a request but they can improve even something extra which was not mentioned. Oberegs differ in price depending on the types of natural stones used, their form and size as well as production time involved. Each obereg is made from hand chosen gemstone beads which are cleansed and the obereg is charged specially for the request (which usually involves a few hours of work). Faceted beads are usually more expensive than round smooth. Bigger beads are pricier than smaller. A consultation for the Obereg is $25 for 1 and $35 for 2 Oberegs (CAD). If you are ordering an obereg this fee is waived and goes towards the obereg itself. Typical budget is (in CAD): (in orange font - most popular options) $35 - 45 - bracelets and anklets made of some small affordable beads (2-6mm), with base metal findings. $55 - 75 - bracelets, anklets, affordable simple short necklaces $85 - 125 - bracelets, anklets, short necklaces $125 - 155 - affordable 108-bead necklaces and prayer beads, bracelets with more precious stones, faceted beads $250 & up - 108-bead necklaces, bracelets, belts, prayer beads from more precious stones. 8) How to ORDER a crystal Obereg?

An OBEREG necklace, bracelet or prayer beads can be your "friend" for many years and you can also later order it recreated into a new type of Obereg or you can give it as a gift to someone (just make sure to cleanse it energetically properly).

7) How long does it take to make and deliever the obereg?
Time frame: Different orders can take various time frame, on average 1-4 weeks + shipping time, depending on how much time is required for defining the request and production of the OBEREG, which includes availability of the stones and to ensure that the all gemstones/ crystals are cleansed and charged with Reiki energy.
